At launch, Kraken holds the honor of being the only exchange providing complete Bitcoin market data to the terminal, including the volume and order book data that traders rely on. Kraken CEO Jesse Powell suggests that Kraken is chosen for the work they’ve done building a stable and compliant cryptocurrency exchange. “I think they probably chose to go with people who would be around, who weren’t going to be facing either regulatory or criminal problems.” Jesse said that the integration with Bloomberg’s terminals might be a significant source of referrals for Kraken.
