Funding and Trading

You can add ICP to your Kraken account by navigating to Funding, selecting the asset, and hitting Deposit. Trading will begin March 18.

What is ICP?

Internet Computer is a blockchain protocol that, unlike any other blockchain, is capable of operating in real-time and without computational capacity limits. Its aim is to recreate the web by supporting smart contract development at scale and changing the way users interact with web services, content and user data. ICP is Internet Computer’s native token, and is used to encourage network participation and to govern the protocol.

Will Kraken list more assets?

Yes! But our policy is to never reveal any details until shortly before launch – not even which assets we are considering. All of Kraken’s listed tokens are available on our website, and all future tokens will be announced on Kraken’s blog and social media profiles. Our client engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about which assets we may be listing in the future.
