Funding and Trading

You can add NYM to your Kraken account by navigating to Funding, selecting the asset, and hitting Deposit. Trading will begin soon. Keep an eye on the status page for updates.

Note:

• This is the native NYM Cosmos token. Learn more about how to transfer your NYM ERC20 token to native NYM Cosmos in the Nym Tech official blog post so you can deposit it in your Kraken account for trading.
• Trading via Kraken App and Instant Buy will be available once the liquidity conditions are met (when a sufficient number of buyers and sellers have entered the market for their orders to be efficiently matched).

What is NYM?

Nym is an open-source, decentralized, and permissionless protocol that aims to provide full-stack data privacy for the next generation of the web. Through the Nym Mixnet, the protocol aims to obfuscate users’ traffic and make it more difficult to track online activity. NYM token incentivizes the network to maintain consensus and allows token holders to govern the future development of the protocol.

Will Kraken list more assets?

Yes! But our policy is to never reveal any details until shortly before launch – not even which assets we are considering. All of Kraken’s listed tokens are available on our website, and all future tokens will be announced on Kraken’s blog and social media profiles. Our client engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about which assets we may be listing in the future.
