Overview
- Total trading volume at $188.2 million, moving the week-over-week average up by 7.6%.
- Bitcoin and Ethereum prices were relatively stable until around 14:00 UTC, when there was a 2-3% drop. Prices slightly recovered.
- Because of the timing of the drop, US traders were still making coffee and missed out: Euro trading volume was 52% of fiat trading.
- Dogecoin was down 8.6%, which is only a fraction of yesterday’s gains. The heavier trading activity has improved Dogecoin’s bid/ask spreads (under 1% against USD and EUR).
- Big gains today for Stellar (+6.1%), Atom (+6.9%), and Quantum (+5.5%); big losses for Siacoin (-9.2%) against USD.
