日本でのリップル（XRP）の取り扱いに関するお知らせ / Notice regarding XRP Trading in Japan

日本居住者向けサービスにおけるリップル（XRP）の取り扱いに関するお知らせです。

Kraken（クラーケン）は1月15日、米国証券取引委員会（SEC）によるリップル社訴訟を理由に、1月29日を目処に米国在住の顧客向けにXRPの取引を停止すると発表しました。

Krakenが発表時に指摘しているように、この度のXRPの取引停止は米国以外に在住の顧客によるお取引に影響が出るものではなく、また、XRPの市場機能が妨げられるものでもありません。

Kraken Japanは、日本在住のお客様に対してこれまで通りXRP取引サービスを提供いたします。引き続き、XRPの入出金および売買（スポット取引：対日本円、対ビットコインXBT）を行っていただけます。

今後、取り扱いに関する変更が生じる場合には、改めてお知らせいたします。

Notice regarding XRP Trading in Japan

Kraken announced on January 15th that it will halt XRP trading for U.S residents no later than January 29th, 2021. As pointed out in the announcement, clients residing in other countries are not affected and XRP markets will continue to operate as usual for clients outside the United States.

Kraken Japan will continue to offer XRP trading (XRP/JPY, XRP/XBT) to Japanese residents as usual after January 29th, 2021.
